If you’re like me and that you love variety in food, you’ll love the Italian version of happy hour, the “aperitivo”. You can have a cocktail and access to the buffet. A lot of places in milan offer a rich buffet. Here are below my personal favorites.
For a 10euro cocktail, you’ll enjoy a rich buffet including pasta, focaccia, salads, meat… I love the atmosphere in this place and the decor.
If you’re going to Fonderie Milanesi, make sure you don’t miss its location which is a bit tricky, at least it was for me the first time I visited!
If you’re into cozy places, Maya is the place to go. With a very varied buffet, the Maya aperitivo is very popular among students. And If you’re lucky you can even find spaghetti with crabs and lobsters. I love going there especially because of the chocolate fountain they have, because you know, it’s chocolate and everything is so much better with chocolate.
Located near Parco Sempione, the BhangraBar also offers a very rich buffet. You can take your plate in the terrace or inside and can enjoy an indian inspired buffet.
This is one of the first aperitivi I tried when I moved in Milan. It’s convenient because it’s close to my university. I remember having to mentally plan for the order of the dishes I would take because I was curious and I wanted to try them all. Well, at least I tried.
